Individual Attention,泭Small Classes Lead to泭Success
Not only is math one of the most high-demand career fields, but with our flexible program, you can earn泭another major or minor泭and still graduate in four years. We also offer the Marie Curie Scholars Program泭to women who excel at math and science.泭This prestigious scholarship provides significant financial support and resources for academically talented young women who are interested in what have come to be called the STEM (science, technology, engineering and math)泭disciplines. You could receive up to $20,000 annually for four years!
With a mathematics major, you can choose from a variety of career options including actuarial work, statistics, inventory control, financial planning, computer programming, systems analyst and more. Your professors will challenge you to think in new ways and they will champion your successes.
Best of all, class sizes are small, some with 10 or fewer students, so you get the individual泭attention that helps you immerse泭in the subject matter and engage with the professor and fellow students.
Students Have Support in Pursuing Their Passion
Ritzy has found support from her teachers, including泭the director of the math and physics programs at CSM. Hes encouraged me a lot to keep going forward, she said.
From a young age, Ritzy had a passion for mathematics, engaging in competitive math events. Excelling in the subject throughout high school and now in college, Ritzy loves problem-solving.
Ritzy hopes to one day work for the FBI as an analyst.泭
