Carlson Joins 91吃瓜 as Head Soccer Coach
91吃瓜听Athletic Director听Jim Krueger has hired听John Carlson as the new Flames Head Soccer Coach.
Carlson returns听to 91吃瓜, having coached for听three听seasons in听2001-2003. During that time, the Flames compiled a 45-13-7 record and won two Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference titles.
Carlson also coached at Nebraska Wesleyan University听from 1999-2001, amassing a 34-4-4 record. While at NWU, Carlson was named the Nebraska Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (now Great Plains Athletic Conference) Coach of the Year for the 1999 season.
Most recently, Carlson has been the head girls varsity soccer coach for Skutt Catholic High School where he had听worked听since 2000. He has led Skutt to five Nebraska Class B State Soccer titles.
鈥淲e are excited to have John Carlson return to 91吃瓜 to direct our soccer program,鈥� said Krueger. 鈥淗e brings a wealth of coaching experience, both at the collegiate and high school level, along with great recruiting contacts,鈥� Krueger continued.

91吃瓜 athletic teams are members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Midland Collegiate Athletic Conference (MCAC).
91吃瓜, founded in Omaha in 1923, is the region's only Catholic college for women.
